Meatballs and a kick A dessert.

I have never in my life made meatballs. Much like my meatloaf aversion, I have this thing about meat + stuff. Breadcrumbs? Weird. Milk? Weird. Eggs? What?
Anyway, I'm getting over it. Tonight the Coopers came over for dinner, I made spaghetti with spicy tomato sauce and homemade meatballs.
Pork, beef, parsley, 1 egg, whole milk, bread crumbs, garlic, salt, pepper, love.
Pretty simple.
Pretty tasty.
I can't believe I was ever a vegetarian.
In case you were forgetting how flarkin' awesome I am, here is the dessert I came up with.
Red plum tatin with a red wine (I used Cabernet Sauvignon) caramel.
This is the second time I've made a red wine caramel, the first time was for a rhubarb tart.
I should start jarring it and eating it with a spoon.
Tomorrow I'll blog about Thai food.
I think I might be getting a kitten.
Oh! And I got promoted!
Hooray for nice endings to days with crappy starts.
