My first post of my 30 Day Shred

Last week I said I'd post today with the results of my first week on the 30 Day Shred.
Here it is.
As of last Monday, I have lost......
............
9.5 pounds!
In 7 days. Doing one 20 minute workout per day.
For serious, yo.
I drank a SlimFast for breakfast, had black coffee with Splenda later in the morning, had another SlimFast and fresh vegetables and fruit for lunch, and ate whatever I wanted for dinner.
I drank tons of water, and drank as much herbal tea and diet coke as I wanted.
I cut out most dairy, refined sugar, and white carbs.
And lost 9.5 pounds.
Sweet!
I'm so excited. I've never had these kind of results from any other workout. Jillian Michaels is scary, but oh my does her DVD work. I used 8 pound weights, but they use 4 pounders in the video. I like the results too much to switch to a lighter weight.
I can't wait to post next Monday!
Oh, by the way, I'm doing big girl pushups. Seriously, in a week.

Yes, I know about the SlimFast recall. No, I haven't gotten sick, so I don't care.

  2. Kudos to you!! Those are excellent results. (I will embarrass myself by admitting I'm sore from playing Wii bowling yesterday; not sure I'm ready for a 20 minute workout...LOL!)
