Walmart stopped stocking Slim Fast (merry Christmas, assholes) because of the "recall." Unless I want to drive 35 minutes to the base, or pay an arm and a leg at another store, I can't get Slim Fast without planning a base shopping trip.
So, in its absence, I picked up a case of the generic "Equate Ultra Weight Loss Shake." It's cheaper, so I'm more fond of it already.
It tastes better. It doesn't have the faux-sugar aftertaste that Slim Fast has. It has fewer calories, 170 to Slim Fast's 180-190 per can. It has less sugar, too.
I'm very excited about this discovery.
I wish they made dulce de leche Slim Fast... in a perfect world...
