Hey! American beer is good for something!

I'm keeping dinners pretty simple this week, so that I'm not burnt out on cooking by Thursday. Tonight we had bratwursts cooked in beer with caramelized onions with roasted potatoes.
I used Maggi seasoning on the onions. It's this awesome German condiment with a nice, salty, umami-rich flavor that was perfect on these onions.
