Dinner for family
Last night I made dinner for my father in law for the first time. I made fajitas with pepita salsa, as it is Ricky's favorite and Bobby (his dad) loves Mexican food. The fajitas were wonderful, of course. This time, instead of seasoning them on the grill, I marinated the skirt steak for about 3 hours in olive oil, red wine vinegar, chipotle chili powder, cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, and lime juice.
Then, not keeping with my Mexican theme at all, I made a tarte tatin for dessert. I love how these smell in the oven! I've posted the recipe here at Ever So Sweet.
