We're sick so I made soup

I didn't want to stand in the hot kitchen for very long tonight. I had some leftover chicken in the fridge, so I threw that in a pot with some carrots, onion, celery, herbs, and chicken stock. I added Cellentani pasta for the last 8 minutes of cooking, garnished with some fresh chives and served with rosemary crackers.

Even Maggie doesn't feel well. Look at that face!

  1. You probably know this already-- but if you load up with antioxidant rich foods-- cooked tomatoes, garlic, dark veggies, etc-- you will feel better sooner.

    Also, spices seem to have an analgesic effect-- but it is poorly studied and documented at this point. Feel better!
