On Sunday Team Poese and I went out for sushi at The Slippery Mermaid.
Bethany had the Funky Mermaid, a California Roll wrapped with smoked salmon, topped with surimi and scallops and then baked and topped with cream cheese, chili dots, and scallions.It was tasty, I tried one.
I had two pieces of salmon nigiri (my personal favorite) and the Hot Mermaid, which is spicy tuna and cucumber, topped with assorted fish (mine was salmon, tuna, and some white fish) and avocado, topped with spicy mayo.
Braden came dressed to the nines in his new Chuck crib shoes.
Bethany offered him a tasty roll, but he politely declined. Spicy mayo and all!
And then he laughed at her for being silly.
